REGISTRATION FORMS ARE BELOW!!!
For 2010 the registration period ends on February 28th. Forms not RECEIVED by February 28th may
be RETURNED, or destroyed, if there is no room on a roster. The change to registrations in February
was posted on the prior Challenger of Omaha website since April 2009 and emails have been sent to
all active email addresses in our database. Without enough coaches, we will not have enough teams
to fulfill all the late registrations. Please consider volunteering to help coach. :)
This change is taking place for two reasons: 1) to align our scheduling better with Keystone we need to
know how many teams we will have earlier in the year, and 2) because so many players are registering
late we need to make this more efficient for a short-handed volunteer Board.
Forms will still need to be mailed to us (not post-marked, but RECEIVED by February 28th) or scanned
and emailed to us, your choice.
The LATE REGISTRATION IS $60 - IF there is room on a team after February 28th. Scholarships will
be available in limited quantity and must be approved by the Board of Directors on a case-by-case
basis. Contact us with questions.
All Little League players must have a signed Medical Release as well as the Registration Form.
Coaches must submit their form for a Background Check (with a copy of your Drivers License) BEFORE
any equipment will be assigned.
Alumni Registration is CLOSED
With the PayPal button below, you can pay safely and securely for this year's registration. The price of
$60 is pre-filled. If paying with a credit card, you do not need to have a PayPal account, though PayPal
will still be the processor of the payment or donation.
Challenger Little League of Omaha, Inc is an approved 501(C)3 Non-Profit Organization as determined
by the IRS. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Please consult your accountant or tax
advisor for specifics. Information can also be found on the IRS website.
The Donate button below does not have a preset price, and still uses PayPal as our processor.
Each Player must also have a current completed Medical Release on file. All coaches must complete
and submit the 'Volunteer Application' and a copy of the Drivers License prior to the beginning of the
season (background check per Little League rules). Equipment will NOT be distributed to coaches
until the background check has been completed. Those coaches that did not submit a copy of their
Drivers License will not be able to coach.
The Minor League - players from age 5 through 10 (all of these ages are guidelines)
The Major League - players from age 11 through 15
The Senior League - players from age 16 through 21
There are three different league levels for Challenger Little League in Omaha, and a fourth league for
those players over 21 years old.
The above age classifications are typical, but are used only as guidelines depending on a player's
ability. Parents, coaches and Board members can help determine if a player should move up into the
next league based on ability and safety factors of other players. Players that create a safety concern for
other participants due to ability or behavior will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be
asked to not play due to safety concerns. The fourth league is called Alumni and is within our
Challenger structure for equipment and scheduling, but is not under the National Little League
umbrella. Any player over 21 is only allowed to play in the Alumni League. As such, all participants in
the Alumni league are not covered by any insurance through Challenger or Little League. These
players participate at their own risk.
