Welcome to the new cyber home of Challenger in Omaha. This baseball league is exclusively for
children with special needs. These needs can be mental and/or physical disabilities. Our 3 different
"little league" divisions begin at age 5 and work up to 21 or high school graduation - whichever comes
first. Our unique and older 4th division is the Alumni which takes over from there and has no age limit.
This is not competitive baseball - no score is kept, no tournaments, no umpires.
The 2012 Early Registration form is available on the Register/Pay webpage (see menu on the left).
For any other questions, please send an email to us at admin@challengerlittleleague.org - we check
the email much more often than we check the phone messages.
The Spring 2011 Newsletter is here (click).
We have not completed all of the other pages, so the information there is incomplete, but accurate.
The answering service number has not changed, you can still leave a message at 558-0031, though
we only check for messages about once each week during the season, but less in the off-season.
We check our email almost daily DURING the season, so if you want a faster response, please use
the email.
The phone number is an answering service - it is not someone's home number and it is not a
machine in someone's home. It is only checked about once each week during the season, and
maybe once a month in the off-season..

Please patronize the sponsors of Challenger - they keep us going!!
Buddy Information - Volunteers are needed to Buddy with Challenger players. Buddies must be 10
years of age and can certainly be adults. Buddies play a key role in Challenger games. They provide
encouragement and help each player safely and actively participate in the games. Buddies can sign
up on the normal registration sheet. This is a great opportunity for SERVICE HOURS!!
In 2011, we reached out to approximately 200 players thanks to the parents, players, sponsors, and
the rest of our community. A new league, called The Miracle League, has formed in Omaha for
people with disabilities, made possible by the ALLPLAY foundation. ALLPLAY has engineered
Omaha's first barrier-free complex benefiting those athletes using wheelchairs, walkers, crutches,
etc. but, will also be used by those with other disabilities.
Through the commitment of all the help, through everyone's efforts, time and financial support, our
Challenger Little League can continue to provide youth with disabilities the opportunity to play fun
organized baseball for minimal cost.
